Shimoda Underwater Aquarium is located in a natural cove in Shimoda Bay in the southern Izu Peninsula. 
We are proud to present that the theme of the aquarium is "Close to Dolphins, Close to Penguins, and Close to Seals! 

Dolphin and sea lion shows are held daily. 
There is also an optional plan to play with the dolphins, where you can swim with them and feed them, and "The Amazing Seat" a special viewing seat where the dolphins leap overhead, is a must-see experience for dolphin fans that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
