Information

Ofuna Kannon-ji Temple is a direct subsidiary temple of Ohonzan Soji-ji Temple, and its principal deity is enshrined as Sho-Kannon Bosatsu (Saint Kannon).

The statue of the white-robed Kannon stands 25.39 m high, 18.57 m wide, 12.73 m deep, and weighs 1.9 tons.
This statue of Kannon is filled with kindness and compassion. You can also enter the Kannon statue. It is called the womb.

The statue is filled with the wish for a thousand-body Buddhist memorial service and a world of peace without war and atomic bombs.
There is also a "message book for the Kannon," so please share your thoughts and feelings with others.

A limited number of Gosyuin stamps are also available each month.
