Information

Kiyosu Castle is a historic castle where Oda Nobunaga first entered from Nagoya Castle in the 1555 year of the Koji Era. 

In the 1560 year of the Eiroku Era, he achieved victory in the Battle of Okehazama and took his first step towards unifying the nation, starting from Kiyosu. 

The current Tensyukaku Pavilion of Kiyosu Castle was reconstructed in the 1989 year of the Heisei Era. 

You can explore exhibits and videos that introduce the history of Kiyosu. 

In the vicinity of Kiyosu Castle, you can enjoy various seasonal activities such as strolling along the Gojo River embankment and viewing cherry blossoms at Kiyosu Park, as well as visiting historical sites.

Notice

* Bookings for NIPPON PASS are not required for children under 5 years old. 

* Closed on Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a holiday), and from December 29th to 31st. 
 However, the castle is open during the cherry blossom viewing period.
