The Sapporo Mt. Moiwa Ropeway is located in the heart of Sapporo, a city in Hokkaido. 
It is situated on Mount Moiwa, with an elevation of 531 meters. 

From the summit, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the expansive Ishikari Plain, a sight so grand that the Ainu people once called it "Inkarshipe" meaning "a place to always go up and watch over." It was indeed a mountain for keeping watch. 

Even today, from the observation deck at the summit, you can take in a 360-degree panoramic view that includes the urban area with towering skyscrapers and the lush natural beauty of the surroundings. 

The night view, in particular, is so beautiful that it has been selected as one of the "Three New Major Night Views of Japan." The city lights of Sapporo shining under the clear Hokkaido sky, combined with illuminations, create a breathtaking spectacle. 

While it may look stunning in photographs, experiencing it in person, with the crisp mountain air, makes it even more vivid, delivering an extra level of excitement and awe.
