Inawashiro Herb Garden (Hotel Listel Inawashiro)

A 100,000 sqm paradise of flowers and fragrance in Bandai Highlands. 

The herb garden is located in Lister Park in front of the Lister Inawashiro Hotel building. In the park, approximately 400 kinds of flowers including Lavender, Mint, Chamomile, etc. are in full bloom every season, and visitors can also enjoy the wooden sculptures of the twelve zodiac signs in Chinese astrology carved by a Canadian sculptor. 

The herb store offers herbal products, Lavender soft-serve ice cream, herbal tea, and refreshments. 

Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers such as Canola blossoms in spring, Lavender, Poppies, Camomile in early summer, and Cosmos in autumn. The colorful flower fields make excellent photographic material. 

Various events are held depending on the season when the flowers are in bloom. Visitors can experience picking Canola or Poppy flowers, and also enjoy the "Umbrella Sky" in which many umbrellas are lit up in the park's greenhouses.
